Growing old ≠ Being mature
Since childhood, we all are taught to give utmost respect to our elders and take their words as an order passed by The Supreme Court. But, as I grew up, I realized that this doesn't always work the right way. The decisions that our elders take are not always right or in the best of everyone's interest, but to only them whom they want to get more benefited. What people need to understand is that age has no relation with the decisions people take or the things they do. Being old is not always equal to being right. One just cannot accept whatever their elders say, just for the sake of giving respect to elderly. This is wrong. Unacceptable. I'm sure many of you, who are in their 20's, can understand what I want to say here. I've always given importance to whatever my parents and other elders have asked to do, be it related to my studies or even my career path for that matter!
